Staff

The nature and size of your event will dictate the staff we recommend you have at the event.

Some of the options are listed in more detail below.

For smaller low key events, it may be that a small team of two medics equipped with the essentials will suffice for your needs.

But for larger events we have the below resources to help your event run as safely as possible.

As mentioned previously, we have a wide range of different staff grades. Ranging from First Responders up to Doctors.

All our staff are fully trained and hold recognised qualifications, but we don't stop there. We regularly hold mandatory training and continual development sessions for our staff to teach new techniques and refresh the basics, ensuring the high standard you expect of a medical organisation.

Our dedicated and hugely diverse team include:

  • First Responders - All are trained as an absolute minimum to an HSE First Aid certificate as a minimum. But we are in the process of upgrading our responder training to the nationally approved FREC Level 3 certificate.

  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - This accounts for the majority of our staff. All have advanced resuscitation and airway management skills. They have advanced assessment, casualty handling and drug and alcohol training.

  • Paramedics - As with all health care professionals, our paramedics are state registered and hold registration with the health professionals council. As would be expected, they possess advanced skills and equipment needed to manage the seriously ill or injured patient.

  • Nurses - Our nurses are all qualified, registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council and are experienced in pre-hospital care. By using nurses at your event it reduces the likelihood of a patient having to be transported to hospital as we aim to deal with the majority of injuries on site in out medical tent.

  • Doctors - Our doctors are registered with the General Medical Council. By having a doctor at an event, we have the ability to bring the hospital to the patient rather than the other way around.

All our staff are Enhanced level DBS checked.

DBS is the Disclosure and Barring Service which replaced the Criminal Records Bureau. An enhanced level check checks for spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings, plus any additional information held by local police that’s reasonably considered relevant to the role being applied for.

We also check the DBS barred lists to ensure that none of our staff pose a risk to children or vulnerable adults.
